He pointed out that disruptions in maritime traffic and energy supplies could have direct consequences for India, even without direct adversarial actions. The discussions underscored the importance of integrating technology with human oversight, with Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi asserting that while technology enhances decision-making, it should not replace human intuition. The recent Operation Sindoor, executed in response to a terrorist attack in Kashmir, was cited as a prime example of successful joint operations among India's military branches, illustrating the need for cohesive strategies across different domains. Furthermore, the conference revealed plans to establish a psychological warfare division to manage information and perception during conflicts, reflecting lessons learned from recent military engagements. The increasing relevance of drone technology in modern warfare was also a key point of discussion, with the Indian Army planning to develop specialized drone battalions to enhance operational capabilities.
