Rizwan Ahmed, a youth from Chhawani area in Padrauna town, Kushinagar district, Uttar Pradesh, was detained by the Delhi Police's Special Cell on suspicion of involvement in terrorist activities. The police, led by inspector Nishant Dahiya, apprehended him after a prolonged surveillance period. Following his arrest, authorities recovered significant incriminating materials, including a mobile phone and laptop, which are now under examination. Ahmed's past connections to ISIS are also being investigated, as he had previously spent six years in jail related to terrorism charges. Meanwhile, the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) recently arrested four members of a suspected terror module with alleged ties to Pakistani handlers. These individuals were reportedly planning attacks on key installations and were in contact with their handlers through encrypted messaging platforms. Authorities are now gathering information about Ahmed's family and contacts, increasing vigilance in the region.
