Ted Ginn Jr. (former Ohio State wide receiver and current head coach of the Columbus Aviators in the United Football League) was arrested for driving under the influence in Texas on Saturday. He was booked into jail but has since been released on bond, as confirmed by the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office. Ahead of the Aviators' game scheduled for Sunday, Ginn took to social media to express his remorse, stating, "I made a serious mistake and take full responsibility for my actions." He emphasized the importance of accountability and his commitment to earning back the trust of his players and fans. Ginn played for Ohio State from 2004 to 2006, contributing to the team’s appearance in the 2006 BCS National Championship Game. Following his college career, he was drafted in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft and played for 14 years in the NFL. In his absence, Offensive Coordinator Todd Haley assumed head coaching responsibilities for the Aviators during this inaugural season.
