The Noida Authority has proposed a significant enhancement to civic infrastructure, detailing 77 projects valued at ₹555.04 crore and 52 major works exceeding ₹10 crore each, culminating in a total investment of ₹1,037.13 crore. This initiative aims to improve public amenities, with a strong emphasis on drainage and water management. During a recent meeting, Noida MLA Pankaj Singh emphasized the importance of prioritizing public convenience and ensuring timely completion of ongoing works. The authority is focusing on rejuvenating five major drains and expediting construction in critical areas like Sector-40. Sector-specific issues have also been addressed, including the installation of public toilets and park repairs in Sector-20, and road repairs in Sector-19. Since 2022, the authority has completed over 250 civic works, with 258 projects worth ₹226.47 crore finished and 13 ongoing projects valued at ₹22.61 crore. Additionally, 107 new proposals worth over ₹360.39 crore have been put forward, reflecting the authority's commitment to responding to public feedback and enhancing the quality of life for residents.
