Chris Billam-Smith, the former WBO cruiserweight world champion, has signed a multi-fight deal with Zuffa Boxing, a promotional company owned by Dana White. At 35 years old, Billam-Smith boasts a professional record of 21 wins and 2 losses. He gained prominence after winning the WBO title in May 2023 at AFC Bournemouth's Vitality Stadium, where he delivered a standout performance against Lawrence Okolie. Following his title win, he successfully defended the belt twice against Mateusz Masternak and Richard Riakporhe. However, Billam-Smith faced a setback in late 2024 when he lost to Gilberto Ramirez in Saudi Arabia while attempting to unify the WBA and WBO titles. His most recent fight was a victory over Brandon Glanton at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium a year ago.
