The World Sevens Football (W7F) is set to make its debut in London from May 28-30, 2025, at the Gtech Community Stadium in Brentford. This event will feature eight Women's Super League clubs, including Manchester United and Aston Villa, competing for a $1.5 million prize pool. The tournament format will consist of 7-a-side matches played on a smaller natural pitch, with each game lasting 30 minutes and allowing for rolling substitutions. The London edition is designed to celebrate women's football and provide a vibrant atmosphere, complete with live music and entertainment. Following successful previous editions in Estoril, Portugal, and Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the organizers are optimistic about the growth of W7F in the UK.
