TrEV Mobility, an all-electric mobility platform based in India, has successfully raised ₹3.65 crore in its first funding round from 11 angel investors, many of whom were previous customers. Naveen Gupta, the founder, highlighted that this investment reflects the trust built through their service. The funds will be utilized to expand their electric vehicle (EV) fleet and enhance operations across the National Capital Region (NCR), which includes Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad. The company currently operates nearly 100 EVs and has completed over 45,000 rides, with a repeat user rate of 55-60%. Additionally, TrEV has received a ₹20 lakh grant under the Startup India Seed Fund Scheme, which was used to develop its mobile application. The company generates 75% of its revenue from direct-to-consumer services, primarily airport transfers, and aims to increase app downloads from 24,000 to 50,000 within three months. Gupta also mentioned investments in safety technology, including AI-powered dashcams, to enhance ride security.
