For the weaving industry, Vijay proposed launching an e-commerce brand and establishing 'Vetri' showrooms across Tamil Nadu to promote local products. He also announced financial support of Rs 30,000 for families involved in handloom and powerloom work, increased electricity allowances, and enhanced pension benefits for weavers. Furthermore, he committed to creating a Rs 15,000 crore credit guarantee fund to assist micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and improve working conditions for police personnel. His party plans to release a full election manifesto on April 16.
