Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida, is set to open the IBM Cyber Defense Range powered by AWS and Cloud Range in April 2026. This state-of-the-art facility will provide students enrolled in the Cybersecurity Bachelor of Science Completion and Information Technology Bachelor of Science programs with hands-on experience in live attack-and-defense exercises. The range will allow students to apply theoretical knowledge in realistic simulations that mirror current cybersecurity challenges. The facility will span over 1,463 square feet and include 28 workstations equipped with advanced technology, enabling team-based exercises, malware analysis, and incident response training. This initiative is designed to strengthen Florida's cybersecurity talent pipeline, ensuring graduates are well-prepared for the workforce. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned for April 16, 2026, marking a significant milestone for Full Sail's Emerging Technologies programs.
