This budget aims to enhance infrastructure through various projects, including new railway lines, track doubling, and safety improvements. Notably, ₹1,315 crore is designated for new lines, while ₹5,083 crore is allocated for track doubling. In FY 2025-26, the SCR Zone successfully added 194 km of track, which includes both new lines and doubling efforts.
