Bank of Baroda, a leading Indian bank, reported a 16.23% increase in global advances, reaching ₹14,30,204 crore as of March 31, 2026. Despite this growth, the bank's standalone net profit declined by 8.2% to ₹4,809.39 crore in the same quarter compared to the previous year.

Bank of Baroda reported a 16.23% year-on-year increase in global advances, totaling ₹14,30,204 crore as of March 31, 2026, compared to ₹12,30,461 crore a year earlier. The bank's total global business also saw a significant rise of 13.93%, reaching ₹30,78,854 crore. Additionally, global deposits increased by 12.00% YoY to ₹16,48,650 crore. Domestic advances and deposits also showed positive growth, with increases of 14.56% and 12.83%, respectively. However, the bank faced challenges as its standalone net profit declined by 8.2% to ₹4,809.39 crore, alongside a 1.2% decrease in total income to ₹35,025.76 crore for Q2 FY26 compared to Q2 FY25. Following these results, shares of Bank of Baroda fell by 1.57%, closing at ₹8,759.55 on April 2, 2026.
