The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has officially launched 24 Nigam Shri schools across the city, which will begin operations this academic session. These schools are designed to enhance educational infrastructure and are modeled after the Prime Minister's Schools of Excellence (PM-SHRI) and Chief Minister's Schools of Excellence (CM-SHRI) initiatives. MCD education committee chairperson Yogesh Verma emphasized that these schools will serve as a model for other institutions, with plans for further expansion.
