Stalin described the ride as 'a journey filled with people’s affection' and reflected on his role in the development of the Chennai Metro project, which he helped secure funding for from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). He highlighted the success of the Metro's first phase and the ongoing work on the second phase, which aims to enhance connectivity in Chennai. With the elections approaching, Stalin has intensified his grassroots outreach, including a morning walk in Sirkazhi. The political landscape is further complicated by the entry of actor Vijay into the electoral fray, potentially reshaping voter dynamics. The elections will see a key contest between the DMK-led alliance and the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), led by the AIADMK and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
