The State Investigative Agency (SIA) has filed a detailed chargesheet against Sabar Hussain for his role in the Thanamandi terror attack that occurred on April 22, 2024, in Kunda, Rajouri district, Jammu and Kashmir, India. Hussain is accused of harboring terrorists linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), an organization responsible for the brutal killing of Mohammad Razaq, a civilian, while his brother Tahir Khurshid, a soldier in the Territorial Army, sustained injuries during the attack. Following the incident, the case was initially registered by the police and later transferred to the SIA for further investigation. The SIA uncovered crucial evidence and recorded witness statements, establishing that Hussain provided shelter and logistical support to three LeT terrorists at his seasonal hut in Chamrer, near Surankote in Poonch district. Consequently, Hussain has been charged under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967.
