The Hartman triplets—Ciara, Briella, and Aliya—along with their teammate Sophie Strand, are gearing up for the Wisconsin state high school track and field championships in La Crosse, aiming for their third consecutive title in the 4x800-meter relay. After winning state in 2024 with a time of 9 minutes, 23.18 seconds and setting a state Division 2 record of 9:18.14 the previous year, the team is focused on maintaining their momentum. Coach Carla Favilla notes the girls' determination to leave a lasting legacy in the sport. Ciara Hartman has also excelled individually, winning the state title in both the 1,600-meter and 3,200-meter events last year. The camaraderie among the team members is evident, as they support one another through pressure and competition. Their ultimate goal is to reset the state record books by achieving a third straight relay title this June, which they believe is within reach if they continue to trust the process and remain healthy.
