RateGain Travel Technologies has announced a strategic partnership with Hotelogix, a prominent cloud-based Property Management System (PMS). This collaboration allows Hotelogix customers to access direct Global Distribution System (GDS) connectivity through RateGain's UNO Platform, facilitating corporate travel demand without the complications of managing multiple integrations. Hotels using Hotelogix PMS will benefit from seamless access to major GDS networks, including Amadeus, Sabre Corporation, and Travelport, directly within their PMS environment. This integration empowers hotels to activate GDS distribution, reaching over 600,000 travel agents and corporate travel programs while managing operations from a single platform. Historically, independent and mid-sized hotels faced challenges in accessing GDS due to the need for third-party providers, which added costs and complexity. However, this partnership aims to eliminate such friction by providing native GDS connectivity, reflecting a broader industry trend where PMS platforms are evolving into comprehensive distribution ecosystems. As the demand for high-yield bookings grows, having direct GDS access is becoming a competitive necessity for hotels of all sizes.
