In a significant move towards modernizing education, teachers at Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) schools are participating in an AI training program aimed at integrating technology into their teaching methods. The initiative, organized by Robotex India at the Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee e-Library, commenced on April 2 and is part of the 'Establishment of Microsoft Educator AI Academy for Skilling and Economic Empowerment (EASE)'. The training focuses on equipping teachers with essential skills, including the use of ChatGPT, MS Word with Copilot, and managing classroom tasks such as attendance and result calculations. NMC's additional municipal commissioner, Vaishnavi B, highlighted the importance of this training in ensuring that students are prepared for a competitive, technology-driven future. The initiative aims to improve both teaching efficiency and student learning outcomes, ensuring that NMC schools remain relevant in the digital age.
