The competition, which started on April 3rd, featured teams from Premier League academies, including Aston Villa and Wolves, alongside top youth teams from China. Under the guidance of coach Craig Smith and academy manager Per Mertesacker, the team displayed exceptional skill, beginning with a 1-0 win against Shijiazhuang Gongfu, followed by a 3-0 victory over Aston Villa. In their final group match, Arsenal secured a 4-0 win against the Beijing FA, advancing to the final where they triumphed over Zhejiang FC with a score of 2-0.
