The Greater Noida Authority has introduced a new industrial plot scheme designed to stimulate investment and promote industrial development in the region. This initiative offers 24 plots across sectors such as agro and food processing, electronics manufacturing, and renewable energy. The plots vary in size from approximately 9,000 square meters to 100,000 square meters, with the largest plot in Ecotech-06 valued at around ₹350 crore (approximately $42 million USD). Interested applicants must pay a registration fee of 10% of the premium value, which is based on the current industrial land rate of ₹35,000 per square meter. The scheme prioritizes applicants based on financial strength, net worth, and potential for job creation, with additional consideration for start-ups and women entrepreneurs. Applications can be submitted online through the Nivesh Mitra portal, with a deadline set for May 12. This scheme aims to enhance Greater Noida's appeal as a manufacturing and logistics hub, especially in light of its proximity to the Noida International Airport.
