In Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India, a 30-year-old woman was arrested on Thursday for allegedly murdering her husband during a domestic dispute on the night of March 31. The couple, married for 11 years and parents to two children aged nine and six, had a history of frequent arguments. On the night of the incident, the husband was reportedly intoxicated, which led to a physical altercation where the wife allegedly smothered him. Following the incident, the husband's brother, alerted by their son, rushed him to a local hospital and later to a facility in Delhi, where he was pronounced dead. An FIR was filed against the woman under section 103(1) for murder, and she was arrested in the Itwar Pushta area of Khoda. The police indicated that the couple's ongoing conflicts contributed to the tragic outcome.
