Recent reports from Valai Pechu indicate that Pawan Kalyan may step in for Shah Rukh Khan, who was initially rumored to appear as a police officer. However, Khan's commitments to his upcoming film King could prevent his participation, leading to Kalyan being considered as a replacement. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, Jailer 2 will see Rajinikanth reprising his role as 'Tiger' Muthuvel Pandian, maintaining the action-comedy vibe of the original while expanding its cast.
