Sona BLW Precision Forgings, a prominent player in the driveline solutions sector, has reached two significant production milestones: 500 million differential gears and 10 million differential assemblies manufactured since its inception. The company, which designs and produces components for Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs), passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and off-highway vehicles, has seen its global market share in differential gears grow from 4.5% in 2019 to 8.7% in 2025. This increase reflects Sona Comstar's expanding relevance and strong customer relationships. The company began producing precision-forged differential gears at its Gurugram plant in 1999 and has since expanded its operations to Pune and Manesar. The production of differential gears has significantly accelerated, with the latest 100 million gears produced in just two years. Similarly, the production of differential assemblies has ramped up, with 5 million assemblies produced by 2023, showcasing the company's robust growth trajectory and rising demand for its products.
