Johnson, entering his second season with the Mystics, will take over basketball operations for the upcoming 2026 season. Wideman, 50, has a notable history in basketball, being part of the inaugural WNBA Draft Class in 1997, where she was selected third overall by the Los Angeles Sparks. Additionally, she had a successful collegiate career at Stanford, leading the team to three consecutive Final Four appearances from 1995 to 1997.
