Rapper Pooh Shiesty (real name Lontrell Williams Jr.) and his father, Lontrell Williams Sr., were arrested in connection with the kidnapping and robbery of rapper Gucci Mane in Dallas, Texas, on January 10. The Texas Attorney General's Office announced the arrests, which also included Big30 and several others. The FBI alleges that the group held Gucci Mane and his associates at gunpoint to force the release of Pooh Shiesty from his contract with 1017 Records, Gucci Mane's label. They reportedly stole money, jewelry, and other valuables during the incident. Lontrell Williams Sr., known as Mob Boss, has a history in the Memphis rap scene and founded Mob Ties Records. His arrest has drawn significant attention due to his relationship with Pooh Shiesty. The investigation continues, and if convicted, the accused could face life sentences.
