The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre (ALC), part of the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi, has announced that the 35th Abu Dhabi International Book Fair (ADIBF) will now take place from September 13 to 18, 2026, instead of its previously scheduled dates in April. This decision was made to enhance global participation and ensure a high-quality visitor experience. The ALC stated that the new dates were finalized after in-depth consultations with international partners, publishing houses, and relevant UAE authorities, considering travel mobility and logistical factors. Additionally, the 20th edition of the Sheikh Zayed Book Award ceremony will be held during the fair, further elevating its profile. The ADIBF continues to be a key event on the UAE's cultural calendar, drawing thousands of visitors and reinforcing the country's role as a hub for knowledge and creativity.
