Tamim Iqbal, the former captain of the Bangladesh national cricket team, has taken charge as the interim chief of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) following the dissolution of the previous board due to alleged irregularities surrounding the 2025 election. He highlighted the need for a credible and fair election process that includes all stakeholders, including cricketers and organizers.
