The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 Session 2 will commence on April 2, accommodating approximately 11.23 lakh candidates across 566 examination centres in 304 cities in India and 14 cities abroad. Candidates are required to arrive at their designated examination centres before the reporting time specified on their admit cards. Those who registered without an Aadhaar must arrive at least one hour early to complete biometric verification. On exam day, students must carry their admit card, two passport-sized photographs, and a valid photo ID proof. The NTA has emphasized the importance of integrity during the examination, as all centres are under CCTV surveillance and equipped with jammers to deter unfair practices. Candidates will also receive blank sheets for rough work, which must be labeled with their name and roll number.
