This increase of 6.7% follows the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise, which was conducted across all 75 districts and 403 assembly constituencies. Notably, Prayagraj district recorded the highest increase in voters, adding 329,421 to its rolls. The final list published on Friday also revealed that there are 73,071,061 male voters, 60,909,525 female voters, and 4,206 third gender voters. Additionally, the SIR process led to a net deletion of 20.45 million names, primarily due to deceased, permanently shifted, or duplicate voters. The gender ratio saw a slight improvement from 824 to 834 women for every 1,000 men.
