In a troubling incident of celebratory firing during a wedding in Dayalpur, northeast Delhi, a 33-year-old woman named Tabassum was injured when a bullet grazed her head and ear late Saturday night. She was observing the wedding from her balcony when the incident occurred around 11:13 PM. Tabassum was promptly taken to Guru Teg Bahadur (GTB) hospital, where her condition is reported to be stable and out of danger. Following her husband's complaint, police registered a case at the Dayalpur police station. According to Sandeep Lamba, the additional deputy commissioner of police for the northeast district, two boys allegedly engaged in celebratory firing during the event. One bullet was recovered from the scene, and police are actively working to identify the suspects. The bride's father and brother have been questioned as part of the investigation, and authorities are reviewing CCTV footage from the area.
