The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) is set to announce the results for the Class 12 PUC II exams today at 3 PM. Initially scheduled for release on April 7, the announcement was postponed due to permissions required from the Election Commission amid the model code of conduct in place for the general elections. A total of 710,363 students from 5,174 colleges participated in the exams conducted from February 28 to March 17, 2026. Registration figures show 292,645 students in Science, 211,174 in Commerce, and 142,982 in Arts. KSEAB has introduced a new evaluation system consisting of three annual exams, where the first exam is mandatory and the subsequent two are optional for score improvement. The minimum pass percentage has been adjusted from 35% to 30%, requiring students to achieve at least 30 marks in each subject and an overall aggregate of 33% (or 198 out of 600). Recently, the KSEAB faced challenges when a fake PUC 2 question paper circulated online.
