Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attended a Soldiers' Felicitation Ceremony in Khatima, Udham Singh Nagar district, to honor soldiers and their families on the sixth death anniversary of his father, Subedar Late Sher Singh Dhami. During the event, he inaugurated a Soldiers' Facilitation Centre and a Canteen Stores Department (CSD) canteen, which will benefit serving soldiers, ex-servicemen, and their families in the region. The Chief Minister made purchases from the CSD canteen to emphasize its importance for local military families. The ceremony was well-attended by numerous soldiers, ex-servicemen, and local residents. Additionally, CM Dhami virtually inaugurated the 25th All India Police Water Sports Cluster Championship in Tehri Garhwal, which features 51 competitions aimed at promoting sportsmanship and national integration.
