L&T Finance, a prominent non-banking financial company (NBFC) in India, saw its shares rise by 2.95% to ₹247.55 following a robust performance in retail disbursement for Q4 FY26. The company reported a 62% increase in retail disbursement, totaling ₹24,080 crore, compared to ₹14,899 crore in Q4 FY25. This growth was bolstered by a 61.21% year-on-year increase in urban finance disbursements, which reached ₹9,840 crore, and a 40.79% rise in rural business finance, totaling ₹7,200 crore. The retail loan book expanded to ₹1,19,550 crore, reflecting a 26% growth from ₹95,180 crore in the same quarter last year. On an annual basis, retail disbursement for FY26 increased by 39%, amounting to ₹83,190 crore compared to ₹60,040 crore in FY25. Additionally, L&T Finance reported an 18% rise in consolidated net profit to ₹739 crore and an 18% increase in total income to ₹2,920 crore for Q3 FY26, compared to Q3 FY25.
