In a troubling incident in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, two unidentified men stole two liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders from a home in the Beta area. The theft occurred on Monday around 2:30 PM while the parents were at work and their children, aged 12 and 14, had just returned from school. The suspects approached the house on a motorcycle, claiming they were there to exchange gas cylinders. The children, unaware of the scam, allowed the men to take the cylinders. It was only after their mother returned home shortly thereafter that they realized the theft had occurred. Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident, noting that the suspects likely conducted prior surveillance of the home. They are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the area but have found no registration number on the motorcycle used by the thieves.
