Valura.ai, an AI-native investment platform, has made its debut in India by onboarding over 1,000 wealth advisors. The company aims to manage a pipeline exceeding ₹3,000 crore (approximately $360 million USD) in assets over the next 12-18 months. This initiative comes at a time when India's outbound investments have surged by 67% to $41.6 billion in FY25, and the Indian rupee has depreciated over 8% against the US dollar in the past year. Valura.ai provides a multi-asset investment platform, enabling access to equities, ETFs, global mutual funds, bonds, REITs, and Shariah-compliant solutions, with client assets held in local custody at the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) regulated GIFT City. CEO Priyesh Ranjan emphasized the platform's AI-driven research and portfolio construction capabilities, which have attracted significant interest from wealth advisors. Rajesh Jha, a co-founder at Jain Investments, noted the previous lack of reliable platforms for global investments, highlighting the demand for such services among high-net-worth individuals (HNIs).
