A 36-year-old man from New Raju Colony, India, tragically died on April 11 after consuming poison three days earlier. His mother filed a complaint leading to an FIR against his wife and three others, accusing them of abetting his suicide. The couple, married since August 28, 2016, had three children and reportedly faced frequent disputes. Following a recent argument, the man's wife returned to her parental home. The deceased's mother claimed that when her son attempted to reconcile, he was met with insults and abuse, which contributed to his distress and subsequent decision to take poison. The police have registered a case under Sections 108 (abetment to suicide) and 3(5) (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the BNS, but the accused have yet to be apprehended.
