The report, submitted on July 31, 2025, identified faults with several prominent political figures, including K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR), the president of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi and former chief minister, and T Harish Rao, the former irrigation minister. The commission's findings prompted Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to refer the case to the Central Bureau of Investigation for further investigation into potential scams. KCR and others contest the commission's validity, claiming it did not adhere to legal standards and failed to consider their defenses adequately. The Telangana government, however, maintains that the inquiry was necessary to address public concerns and was conducted lawfully.
