VFS Global has inaugurated a Visa Application Centre in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, to cater to the increasing demand for visa services in the region. This new facility, inaugurated by Mohan Charan Majhi and Yummi Talwar (Chief Operating Officer, South Asia, VFS Global), aims to simplify the visa application process for local residents, eliminating the need to travel to Kolkata. The centre, which covers approximately 3,000 sq ft, will begin by processing visa applications for 10 countries, including the UK, Ireland, and Italy. Yummi Talwar emphasized the importance of efficient mobility infrastructure for economic growth and international collaboration, stating that the centre will enhance connectivity for Odisha's businesses and travelers. VFS Global currently operates over 560 centres across 20 cities in India, providing visa services for 53 countries. The company plans to expand its offerings further in the coming months.
