Brothers Alfie Pritchard (27) and Joe Pritchard (24), from Worcester, England, are set to embark on a two-man relay from John O'Groats in Scotland to Land's End in Cornwall, aiming to complete the 837-mile distance in under eight days. Their journey begins on May 18 and they hope to raise £10,000 for Help the Heroes, a charity supporting veterans. The brothers have undergone advanced physical testing at the University of Worcester to prepare for the challenge, which included analyzing their oxygen uptake and how their bodies utilize carbohydrates and fats during exercise. Alfie stated they would be running in shifts, with one brother always running while the other rests. This endeavor marks their fifth fundraising challenge, having previously supported various charities, including the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation. The brothers are motivated by a desire to give back to veterans and are optimistic about receiving support from the public along their route.
