Akhilesh Yadav (National President of the Samajwadi Party) has sharply criticized the Indian Central Government for the unrest in Noida, asserting that the administration is responsible for the 'injustice and disrespect' faced by workers. He pointed out the irony of civil unrest coinciding with the celebrations of Baisakhi and Ambedkar Jayanti, occasions meant for unity and reflection on constitutional values. Yadav stressed that the government's neglect of public sentiment has led to escalating tensions, particularly concerning workers' rights in Noida. He stated, 'If any unfortunate incident occurs, the government is directly responsible,' highlighting the need for the government to uphold the Constitution's guarantee of equal rights. In response to the unrest, law enforcement has arrested over 350 protesters and warned against the misuse of social media to incite further unrest. The situation remains tense as the police continue to monitor and respond to potential disruptions.
