Bryce Butler, a 6-foot-4, 325-pound defensive tackle, has faced significant challenges on his path to joining the Texas Tech Red Raiders football team. Originally from Toronto, Ontario, Butler spent two years at Garden City Community College in Kansas, where he learned the value of hard work amidst tough living conditions. He recorded 59 tackles and 8 sacks during his time there, earning second-team all-conference honors. After a brief stint at the University of Washington, where he had 19 tackles and 2 sacks, Butler transferred to Texas Tech in January. He is excited about the team's impressive facilities, which cost over $240 million, and believes they will help him elevate his game.
