Nandita Sinha, the CEO of Myntra, is set to depart from the company after a decade-long tenure, as reported by Moneycontrol. Her exit aligns with Flipkart's upcoming IPO, scheduled for later this year. Myntra, acquired by Flipkart in 2014, has established itself as a leader in India's online fashion market, competing against Amazon Fashion, Reliance's AJIO, and others. Following Sinha's departure, Sharon Pais, who currently leads Flipkart Fashion, is expected to step into the CEO role at Myntra. Pais has over seven years of experience with Flipkart and previously served as Myntra's Chief Business Officer for about four years. Under Sinha's leadership, Myntra has maintained a strong market position, controlling approximately 50% of India's $21 billion fashion market alongside Flipkart Fashion. To further enhance its market share, Myntra recently introduced a zero-commission model aimed at attracting young direct-to-consumer brands, part of its Myntra Rising Stars programme launched in July 2023.
