Ravneet Singh Bittu, the Union Minister of State for Railways and Food Processing Industries, criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government for its failure to arrest Sukhdev Singh Bhullar, the father of former minister Laljit Singh Bhullar, and his personal assistant, Dilbag Singh, in connection with the suicide of Gagandeep Singh Randhawa, an officer at the Punjab State Warehousing Corporation. Randhawa died by suicide on March 21, leaving behind a video message that allegedly implicated Bhullar in harassment. Bittu expressed concern over the lack of action from the state government, stating that despite an inquiry ordered by the chief secretary, no senior officials had visited Randhawa's family. He emphasized the need for accountability and criticized Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring for not supporting a petition for a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry. Bittu also mentioned that the home minister had assured a CBI probe would be initiated once all Punjab MPs wrote to him. Additionally, he accused AAP of removing Raghav Chadha from his position as deputy leader in the Rajya Sabha due to financial issues within the party.
