Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has stressed the urgent need for a comprehensive overhaul of the college curriculum to align with current industry requirements. During a departmental review, he highlighted the importance of introducing new, demand-driven courses alongside traditional offerings. Naidu pointed out that improving university rankings, particularly for Andhra University in Visakhapatnam, should be a key focus for educational institutions. He also called for the Higher Education Council to become more proactive and for the Education Department to take the lead in these initiatives. Additionally, the CM addressed housing issues, directing officials to expedite the construction of five lakh houses and the distribution of housing sites to meet the needs of nearly two lakh individuals seeking land. Naidu emphasized the importance of public safety, advocating for educational campaigns on traffic rules and helmet usage to prevent road accidents. He also launched the Aware 2.0 mobile application to enhance real-time governance and public awareness regarding safety alerts.
