On April 9, Adani Green Energy Ltd announced that its subsidiary, Adani Renewable Energy Middle East Ltd, has entered into a joint venture with Minerva Holding RSC to develop renewable energy projects in India. This collaboration aims to enhance the clean energy capacity in the country, aligning with the growing investment momentum in the sector. Under the agreement, Adani Renewable Energy Middle East will acquire a 20% stake in the joint venture entity, Minerva Renewables Holding RSC. The governance structure allows Minerva to appoint up to four directors on the board, while Adani will nominate one, indicating a majority influence for the UAE partner. The backing of International Holding Company PJSC, valued at over $230 billion, underscores the financial strength behind this initiative. This partnership is part of Adani Green Energy's strategy to expand its global footprint and strengthen its renewable energy project pipeline amid rising international interest in India's clean energy sector.
