During his visit to Florida State University in Tallahassee, he received an offer from the program, which he shared on social media, expressing his gratitude. Johnson, who stands 6 feet tall and weighs 185 pounds, had an impressive 2025 season, recording 29 tackles, three tackles for loss, and five interceptions. He also contributed significantly on offense, catching 38 passes for 828 yards and scoring 11 touchdowns. Currently, Johnson is ranked as the No. 39 safety and No. 417 overall recruit in the nation according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
