Defence Minister Rajnath Singh reassured the public on Thursday that there is no shortage of fuel or gas in India, as the country prepares to address potential energy crises arising from the ongoing conflict in West Asia. Speaking at a Sainik Samman Sammelan in Kerala, Singh highlighted the Indian Navy's crucial role in safely escorting tankers through the Strait of Hormuz, a vital shipping lane. He emphasized that the government is closely monitoring the situation in West Asia and is ready to respond to any developments. Furthermore, Singh called on voters to support the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the upcoming assembly elections, asserting that the party, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is best positioned to bring about positive changes in the state. The Kerala Assembly elections, which will determine the future of the state's 140 seats, are set for April 9.
