The court emphasized the importance of adhering to the National Sports Development Code of India, which requires annual reviews of sports bodies. The court has allowed AIPA to submit written representations and attend a personal hearing regarding IPA's annual renewal application. Despite AIPA's attempts to secure a stay on IPA's recognition, the Hon'ble Division Bench refused to grant such a request. The IPA has stated its commitment to transparency and cooperation with government authorities to ensure the growth of pickleball in India. The case is set for further proceedings on May 11, 2026.
