Bahrain's Ministry of Education has announced that starting April 19, students in public schools will have the option to choose between remote learning and in-person classes. Schools will reach out to students and parents this week to confirm their preferred mode of study. Private schools have the autonomy to decide their teaching methods based on their specific situations and must inform the ministry of any changes. Additionally, higher education institutions are permitted to resume classroom learning or implement a hybrid approach, particularly for practical training essential for students nearing graduation. Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, the Minister of Education, emphasized that this decision follows a careful assessment to balance flexibility with the need for uninterrupted education, commending educators for their dedication during these challenging times.
