The Indian stock market is poised for a positive opening on Wednesday, driven by a rally in global markets following a two-week ceasefire agreement between the US and Iran. The Sensex gained 509.73 points (0.69%) to close at 74,616.58, while the Nifty 50 rose 155.40 points (0.68%) to settle at 23,123.65. This marks the fourth consecutive day of gains for the Indian markets. The ceasefire, brokered by Pakistan, is expected to halt military actions and reopen the strategically important Strait of Hormuz. In response to the ceasefire, crude oil prices fell sharply, with Brent crude down 13.86% to $94.13 per barrel and West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude down 15.02% to $95.99 per barrel.
