The Pulse, who were missing their star goal shooter Liv Tchine due to injury, relied on Kamogelo Maseko and Sophie Kelly, who scored 27 and 16 goals respectively. The Pulse started strong, quickly establishing a 12-1 lead, prompting Mavericks coach Tamsin Greenway to call an early timeout. Although the Mavericks fought back, narrowing the gap with Emma Thacker's three two-point super shots, the Pulse finished the match decisively. Funmi Fadoju, named player of the match, emphasized the team's resilience and depth, stating, “We have so much other strength on the bench.” With this victory, the Pulse now shares 18 points with league leaders Loughborough Lightning, who are set to face Nottingham Forest soon.
